They have to decide this themselves, no one can do this for them. As with all priorities it takes time and starting over
many times. We are creatures of habit.
When they know God is real and he wants them to have his gospel a part of their life they will start to change. As they try it and see blessings ( and don't give up when bad things still happen, as that is part of learning) they will continue to want to have that a part of their life.
